Bitcoin Journey

Fix the money, fix the world.
Exploring Bitcoin since 2015 through proof of work, mining infrastructure, and building on the Bitcoin protocol.

My Bitcoin Journey

My journey with Bitcoin began in 2015, when I first discovered the revolutionary potential of decentralized money. Bitcoin doesn't fix all of the world's problems, but it fixes some of them. One of the more painful realizations I've had to make is that Bitcoin is unlikely to become adopted by the masses within a short span of time. It is likely to be something that plays out over the course of years, if not decades.

As much as I would like it to happen overnight, I don't think that would be very helpful for the stability of our societies. Hyperinflation and thus a sudden, confusing, and confounding transition to a new currency would throw the world into chaos. Bitcoin is a bridge to financial safety—a way to opt out of the traditional financial system while building something better.

In 2018, I started a company with my wife,&nsbp;Mrugakshee. This was my first real foray into building something meaningful, and it taught me the importance of sound money and financial sovereignty.

My deep dive into Bitcoin led me to work with Sazmining, a Bitcoin cloud mining company, where I served as Technical Lead. I helped build the complete tech stack for their Bitcoin mining operations, taking the company from pre-revenue with reservations to post-revenue with full operations and recurring revenue. Working with Sazmining gave me firsthand experience with proof of work and the critical infrastructure that secures the Bitcoin network.

More recently, I've worked on Bitcoin Ordinals projects, including OrdinalsBot, an inscription service and platform that enables users to inscribe data directly onto the Bitcoin blockchain. During this time, I architected and lead a team that builtTrio.xyz, a ordinals and inscriptions marketplace. This work represents one of the evolutions of Bitcoin, moving beyond transactions to a platform for permanent and cencorship resistant digital artifacts.
