Bitcoin Sherpa

Overview

Bitcoin Sherpa was a product that highlighted diverse voices and figures in the Bitcoin space. The homepage featured an interactive form that walked users through a set of questions designed to identify their Bitcoin persona — then recommended voices in the ecosystem who are "like" them based on their demographics and interests.

My role

I designed and built the prototype end to end as the sole developer.

What I built

The core experience was a guided questionnaire on the homepage that mapped user inputs to curated Bitcoin thought leaders, educators, and creators. The goal was to help newcomers find signal in a noisy space — connecting them with voices that would actually resonate.

The stack was Next.js and Firebase.

Outcome

Bitcoin Sherpa was a pilot prototype that shipped its first build but didn't move beyond that stage. It validated the idea of persona-driven discovery in the Bitcoin community, even if the product didn't scale past v1.
